Samples

Delivery of samples will depend on the size and quantity required. Small cut pieces of product (approximately 10cm square) can be sent by Royal Mail in a padded envelope.

More than 4 samples of this size need to be sent by parcel carrier due to the weight, or can be added to an order if it can be arranged at the same time.

Full tile samples can be provided on request. Samples which are 30x30 and 30x60 are the easiest to pack and generally arrive at the destination intact. Individual tile samples are free of charge but we request that the cost of the parcel carrier be paid for. Larger full tiles can be arranged as samples but need to be put on pallets or collected. A charge for larger tiles may be levied.

The type of delivery we offer for your ordered material will depend on the quantity required. This may be a small box which is sent via parcel carrier or pallets/crates sent via a haulage network.

Parcel Carrier

This type of delivery is best suited for smaller orders of sheets of mosaics (<5 sheets), bottles of sealant and samples. Delivery will generally be between 9am and 5pm (Mon-Fri) and if no one is at the address of delivery a card will be left so the recipient can arrange suitable alternative arrangement.

Once the parcel has arrived it is important to record any outside packaging disturbance or damage. This may indicate internal damage of the goods inside. The driver may not wish to wait whilst the parcel is opened and the goods inside checked. If the drivers note is signed as acceptable we cannot claim for goods damaged in transit. Any issue with packaging or product must be communicated to the Sales Team within 48 hours on 01606 841 000 and may be required to be confirmed in writing.

Pallet/Crate Delivery

This type of delivery is best suited for multiple boxes of mosaics and mixed orders of different sizes/types of natural stone from our range. Each pallet/crate will hold approximately 30m2 of material in internal tiles, or 15m2 in external flags. Delivery will generally be between 9am and 5pm (Mon-Fri) unless previously arranged. If no one is at the address when the delivery company arrives a card will be left to arrange a mutually convenient time. Should delivery be attempted and aborted a further charge will be levied by the haulage company. This will be identified at the time.
